Cosmo is a 3 year old Cairn Terrier mix. He was found running loose in Austin. It was discovered that his original home had kept him tied up to a dog house for over a year with very little attention. He will definitely need regular grooming. Cosmo has become a favorite of shelter volunteers because of his feisty, energetic personality. He is a true character. Cosmo does like to be the boss when it comes to other dogs, particularly large breeds. In the past few months, he has blossomed, becoming more affectionate and personable. He would do best with an experienced owner and no small children. Potential adopters should plan on basic obedience training and some housetraining. A fenced in yard is required for this little dynamo. His adoption fee is $125. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes.
